the motorcycle would make a nice custom of the original quarrel Z force one.
and some of the indiana jones stuff would make great red shadows.

I think that my last post got lost in translation!
What I wanted to say was that I will be adding some 1:18 scale handlebars to my RFM. The RAM version looks good like that.

There were some pics over at TNI that showed some new Action Man toys shown at Toy Fair, but I've been unable to find any information on them. I'm wonderng if these AM toys will be released in the US or only in Europe. Does anyone here know?
LET'S GET EXTREME!!!

sadly I cannot find any info either. Im thinking maybe it was hasbro just trying to get retailers to pick it up as an exclusive or somethingEye of Agamotto wrote:There were some pics over at TNI that showed some new Action Man toys shown at Toy Fair, but I've been unable to find any information on them. it was all old toys just redone in a different paint scheme or new clothes too.
Action Man needs some kind of Advertising like a comic ( well done ) and a cartoon or something to really boost it and support it. and Im not talking about the crappy CGI series that had him as an american and a extreme sports star but more like the CGI movies of ROBOT ATTACK X-missions and the Gangrene Code along with the 1996 series that we cover on the boards here ( will be )
A good serious comic would be fun if done right
I think hasbro is making a mistake by not having ACTION MAN in the new movie, I mean WOW what a great way to relaunch the ACTION Man line along with the GI JOE Line but no they took him out of the script already !

I would think mainly Europe.Eye of Agamotto wrote:There were some pics over at TNI that showed some new Action Man toys shown at Toy Fair, but I've been unable to find any information on them. I'm wonderng if these AM toys will be released in the US or only in Europe. Does anyone here know?

Re: New York Toy Fair 2008: GI Joe
what they need to do is for the US market include the ROBOT ATTACK MOVIE , the X-missions Movie ( best of the 3 ) and the Mexican exclusive GANGRENE CODE movie , with the toys here
no work but an english track for the 3rd movie would need to be done and it supplies kids with something to watch
for the UK they should do the Gangrene code movie in english as it was only done in spanish and release it in the UK
they should also think about doing them in a different size, perhaps taking the sigma six size format, or my personal preference and want / dream a 3 and 3/4th inch line much like the 25th anniversary line for Action Man
I would love to have all these charaters in that format, right now we only have ACTION MAN
oh and maybe we should move this thread to the to ACTION MAN chat section? baron???

I've been collecting the 25th anniversary Joes, and I'm hyped not just for the wetsuit Baroness (dream come true though it is) but with the Lady Jaye finally in her cartoon hat-less spear wielding form at long last.
jamarmiller, you're a font of all GI Joe info, were the Crimson Guard inspired by someone at Hasbro who'd caught sight of our Red Shadows? It always seemed to me that a couple of years into the Joes someone at Hasbro thought "you know those Red Shadow toys produce for Europe are too cool a design to miss, how can we make it into Cobra?" and lo the Crimson Guard were born.
Maybe it's just me, but I'd like to think the CGs were a tribute or inspired by the Red Shadows. (of course I could be well wrong)

ya both of those 2 has been really asked for by fans and really needed. I am going to be very interested in getting those two.pocoyo_joe wrote:I've been collecting the 25th anniversary Joes, and I'm hyped not just for the wetsuit Baroness (dream come true though it is) but with the Lady Jaye finally in her cartoon hat-less spear wielding form at long last.
the baroness would work nice as Red Shadow Frogman too! maybe a new character? and a Female at that??
I just have wayyyyyy to much time on my hands LOLpocoyo_joe wrote: jamarmiller, you're a font of all GI Joe info, were the Crimson Guard inspired by someone at Hasbro who'd caught sight of our Red Shadows? and I always wondered about the crismon guard as well, and even more recently why hasbro insist on giving us a RED BARONESS and RED COBRA COMMANDER ( AGAIN )
but I dont know really, deep down I doubt it but who knows. Now for the more recent stuff?? I think the red shadows MAY be of an influence . Its more likely now it is then before
of course I would be more than happy to be wrong!
