Both are spraypainted. It is not variant, just a lousy paint job.

Erhmmmmm, I have fully missed the "zig zag"-part. Please ignore my previous posting. I should touch Vodka when posting, or vice versa...

I agree with Jonesy that the difference might have something to do with "Z Force" vs. "AF" version.

Increase the speed in production might be the case. Export toys always go through QC, even in Asia, so the last one I find hard to believe.
