All new 25th -Pursuit of Cobra Command and Control Center

Post by samsallspark »

Wanting to give your modern Joes and Action Force figures a proper H.Q. can be tough, and with Hasbro dropping guests like 80's fan fav Agent Trakker to the mix as well as the Adventure team what do you give your heroes to track the EVIL RED SHADOWS and COBRA COMMAND. I tell you what, you give them the MODERN ERA 25-POC Command and Control Center, A.K.A. THE PIT. This new take on an ol fav is just what you've been waiting for.

Very good it reminds me of the terrain you got with Games Workshop's Necromunda game although that was held together with plastic bulkheads.
Spock, where the hell's the power you promised?

One damn minute, Admiral

The template is made from the original Palitoy Action Force Headquarters, (with some differences) I've made a lot of size changes in areas to make this one larger from the original, because the Palitoy figures are slightly smaller I had to go back and resize everything. (The upcoming TerrorDrome will have new parts making it a truly new playset). I'm also releasing a remake of the Warren Transformers Activity Center.

I love how you went beyond, and added the MASK and NEST logos in there.

Thanks everyone, I put a lot of time into trying to the planning of this one, And yes...for those who've asked, if you build more than one and don't use the helipad/runway, they are indeed modular. ( I only took this pic to show it can be done, but you would have to modify a few things, but it does work) If I left it like this I'd brace the walls a little more though. Personally I like building them out beside one another, but if you want to build upwards this shows you can.

Thank you so much! Little Humby is starting to wear out my HQ. I promised him I was going to make one for his ROC figures but you have saved me the job. Thank you very much! Do you have to resize for printing? Did you crop pieces to fit onto A4 then join together on the card?

If you want a straight reprint you can use the palitoy sizes and inter those into whatever program you're running. (I have a program that measures the sizes and auto sizes it for print). My son has ran a few off in microsoft's paint program, so it's not to hard, if you have any problems feel free to contact me here.

If anyone has the original palitoy base and reads this, I do need your help, There were several plastic pieces to that original set that I'd like to make casts of to make an updated model. ( I have yet to find anyone here stateside who has one that can help) If you can, Please feel free to contact me here.
