how'd you ge teh helicopters to fly? is someone standing out of shot holding them?

They sure are, i was holding one, while taking the photo, while my nephew was holding the other. I just cropped the pic after to remove the arms. So it gives the choppers the perfect fly effect. Glad you like my dios.

I'll have to make some dios with AF vs Red Shadows at some point.

It kind of is, i was inspired to do the convoy dio after i did this one. To kind of show how the Joes got to this point. Even though this dio was displayed and pics taken before the convoy dio.

you must have a lot of playmobil! id love to pick some up but I never see any 2nd hand and its all v expensive in the shops to pick up for dios... I do have some of the robin hood / pirates of the caribbean stuff which looks quite good...

It certainly is expensive in the shops and Playmobil on Ebay is snapped up pretty quick.

the joes look really cool together. i only collect Cobra figs and the odd snake-eyes but these look smart together

It did takes a long time to set up, was worth it though, came out pretty good i i do say so myself.
