So what vehicle can tow a Whirlwind?
So, I popped up into my parents attic at the weekend and dug out my old AF3 so I had something to hook one of my Whirlwinds up to - but it doesn't have a tow-hook on the back! I noticed that the Mobat has a proper hook on the back, but what other Palitoy issue vehicles have the correct hook? Or do I need to get myself a Stinger and just stick some Z-Force stickers on it ...?

the Z force ATC has a tow hook

unfortunatley the jeep just has a little hole thing ....

Z force jeep? Not sure if that has a tow hook, but I'd imagine it would. What about the APC/ATC?
Re: So what vehicle can tow a Whirlwind?
Z Force APC
Z Force Battle Tank
The Jeep doesn't have a tow hook, which is, when you think of it, rather silly.

A bit of coathanger bent in a z shape might work for the Z jeep, just looking at that. Or maybe Destro Dawson could mould something?

Aye, but colourwise that would look silly as well!Andy1672 wrote:but the SAS Panther does
The Panther can tow the MSS, why can't the Jeep tow the Whirlwind? Reason: Palitoy design. The Panther and MMS are both Hasbro, same with the Tank and APC.

I always thought it was odd that the
didn't have a tow hook for the cannon...especially when you consider the Shadowtrack had one added for the
cannon
Possibly it was an oversight on Palitoy's part, or the jeep couldn't be adapted, the only
vehicle from the 1st wave that could tow the Whirlwind would of been the tank.

Re: So what vehicle can tow a Whirlwind?
The eternal question of how to move the
Attack Cannon ...
If you hitch the Whirlwind to the APC then you can balance the Cannon on the 'bridge' between the two ... extreme practicality in action. Like the Dart & Lance etc. bumbling along behind the Jeep/APC/Tank convoy at 4.5 MPH.
