The Price of Shads

Post by paul463 »

I think we may have started to discuss this in another thread, it has just dawned on me that the release of the GI Joe Con Shads is having a pricing effect (explosion) on our beloved palitoy red friends. My brother sold three complete shadows to a US buyer the other night for £51. I wonder how high the price will go when the set is released?
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

I had noticed that the price was creeping up over the last 2 to 3 months too. I'll have to start locking my 3 in the safe at this rate.

even when master Igoe was hoovering them all up for £10-£15 there were never as many for sale as there are now, seems to be tons of them on ebay at the min.

I just bought a load of Shads from our very own Action figure supplies, they were ridiculously priced at around £1.50 each ! I think I got 8 shadows for 12 quid :)
