I think to have the personality of a collector, you have to be a little OCD.
I am definitely a bit obsessive.
Throughout my collection, everything on display is complete, with all weapons, backpacks, etc. All vehicles are complete and unbroken.
There's probably a few more on here who are the same as me and not having their figure 'complete' grinds on them and the search begins to find that elusive missing part.
I also have an OCD for 'supplies'. As well as having all the figures complete, I have to fill up vehicles with extra surplus guns and backpacks. I just can't get enough of them. I've traded with many of you on here in the past for spares, not to complete a figure but to fill up a vehicle.
It's not so easy to see in these pics, but the are several vehicles on the shelves just bursting with spare ammunition. I can't help it, it's OCD....
The collection I display only consists of 100% complete figures/vehicles as well. At the moment I only have a handfull of figures I need to get complete.
That you have extra gear as you are customizing a lot I can understand. But using gear just to fill up vehicles is completely nuts! What's the use of that?
This looks really greedy to me. Others might be looking for an item you already have 500 times. Nothing personal, but in future when I have anything spare, I rather sell to/trade with somebody who really needs it.

I completely agree, it is completely nuts!
But I just like having surplus supplies for each of the forces. My sas boat patrol with lots of det's and ammo in is great imo. It's not like its apc green aerials!
Still, black-listing me from the famous LJ trading list seems a tad harsh Niels??? I've had some great stuff from there in the past..
I know where you are coming from on the complete figures and vehicles front, I have to have complete vehicles and figures and can't bear to show them off if they aren't complete.
I'm particularly bad on the Star Wars front where there is a zero tolerance on repro weapons and parts, to the point where I ditch ones that I have doubts over.

F*ck*ng hell mate, I feel sorry for those guys in the Sealion. Reminds me of trips back from Ikea when my wife has bought far too much stuff to fit in my car.
But seriously mate I can understand to a degree; I really need my figures to 100% complete, and if I have something missing it bugs the s*it out of me. However I wouldn't go as far as stocking up on extra bits to cram in my vehicles.
