Skull Squadron revisited

Post by scoobydie »

Looks like our new pilot has a new ride :)
After all the possibles in the aircraft department the Striker came out trumps in the end, seemed to be
the closest match.

Brilliant. Another cracking custom Andy!
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

I used the Humbrol Red 19 spray acrylic on this, same one on all the Shad customs I do.
Just a sh*t that when I initially put the same brand black on top it seperated, so back to the brush in the end.

Had to struggle to find 2 missiles for the front of this one, their 2 different types :(
Bit like hens teeth ,near impossible to find.

nicely done, while I can't approve of painting a Skystriker, that looks bloody good.

Agreed with above (Skystrikers should remain untouched, and WHALES (save the WHALEs)) but still looks NICE!

Oh I totally agree, thing is that when its got the dreaded yellowing its all fair game in my eyes

As for the WHALES . well there are enough incomplete ones knocking about for a little experimenting with.
