Satin Varnish

Post by The Kraken Wakes »

Does anyone know of a nice satin varnish for enamel paints?

Ive tried the Humbrol types as I use their paints and for the first time wsnt too happy with their stuff, the satin is pretty much gloss and the matt is very very dull, ok for a few customs ive done but I want a satiny satin for the majority of my stuff...

I thought the satin being glossy was me not mixing it enough. So if thats not the case then I would be interested in one too. The satin varnish I think really finishes a custom. Especially as the original figures had a satin finish to them. Have you had a look through Hannants? I'll try and look for one there.
