I never realised they swapped artists in the middle of that story. Jim Watson started it. Watson is daunting to colour at first, but becomes enjoyable when you realise you don't have to work that hard at it. Just sort of let the colours form, but you do have to be in the zone ;) Only 3 pages of Kraken left now. The Black Major looks to be a massive story, real hard yakka.

Good read, Fuzzchile

It's also the only BAF strip to feature Marvel UK favourite Geoff Senior!

Thanks for Gual link, fuzzchile.

Yeah they swapped twice first Geoff Senior (apart from Warrior and maybe a few marvel U.K things I've never seen ..his first gig for I.P.C ..he would go onto 2000ad and drew a few Future Shocks I remember ..then Zoids Transformers and eventually Action Force) man he'd do a great Dredd (I think he did a Year book thing but I haven't seen that yet) then after about 3 issues Gual took over ..only just realised after reading website he drew "George and Lyn" .. one of those 3 panel comic strips kind of like "Jane" where female characters clothes fall off for some innocent reason ..(I guess it was in the Sun or Star Newspaper) We got the Mirror in the 80'S so I'm more familiar with John Burns Jane lol .. He also drew James Bond for a Swedish Publisher making him ideal for Action Force ..strikes me as the easiest to colour of these 3 artists as his inks are bold and strong ..not so many gaps in the drawing ..glad things are going well with Kraken :kraken: .. it takes a while to suss out how to colour Watson's art so I'm looking forward to rereading that story :)

Geoff Senior did indeed do a Dredd Yearbook, he also did a long run in the kids movis spin off comic Judge Dredd: Lawman of the Future which kicked ass. I'm constantly surprised he hasn't done more for the 'tooth. Still my favourite artist to this day, I'd love to see his take on the ABC Warriors!

That would be the perfect match up he'd do an awesome Hammerstein and Deadlock ..come to think of it he'd do a neat Nemesis ..(I can see traces of Kev O'Neil in his 80'S linework especially the Marvel work )
