Dave's 1,000th post treat
yay, 1,000 posts!!!
In celebration of 1,000 posts of news and nonsense, I leave you a small gift that I'm sure some of you will enjoy.
A mock up of an unproduced Q-Force Submersible.
It was discovered in the same location as the rest of the SWS Team and remains a bit of a mystery at the moment, as no-one recalls exactly where and who worked on it.
However, during the concept development of the Sealion, various sketches were created of different underwater craft, so this might have been a rough model to present before funding was granted for development.
It is made of wood and plastic parts, with the cockpit made from what looks like plastic bottles.
The pincers are made of rubber and the arm joints are actually ball joints from an Action Man.
The roof is hinged to allow access to cockpit.
So there we are, within 1,000 posts we've had some unproduced action figures, we've had proposed re-paints of existing vehicles, but great to see a possible early mock up/ possible unproduced concept of a vehicle.
I'm off to London Film & comic Con now, but hope you enjoy.
Here's to the next 1,000 posts,
Dave.

soooo cool, I'm imagining it with magnetic plates inside the claws to allow it to anchor on the submerged stanchions of The Enemy's top-secret deep-sea lair

well done on the post count, can sort of see why this wasn't rushed into production. Not a bad concept though
