Medical Centre

Post by Flash »

I am thinking of building a medical centre for my injured troops maybe incorporating a medic helicopter to extract casualties.

Has anyone got any ideas or pics of other things along this line?

Got the idea from watching a documentry about doctors etc volunteering and going out to Afghanistan.

All thoughts and suggestions welcome as always (although quotes from the M.A.S.H. series might be frowned upon).

i like the sound of that, depending on how far you'd want to go, there is a range of toys 'world peacekeepers' they do action force scale bunks i'm not sure if they break down into single bunks if they do they could be used as the beds for your injured troopers.

A field kitchen would be nice..
Will you use real canvas for the tents or useing porta-cabin type affairs? Lots of stretcher's needed I'm thinking..you can clip Docs stretcher to the The Dragonfly's landing gear, so that's medi-vac sorted.
More news, as its made, from new Action Force!

i like the idea of a field kitchen, you'd have to customise a cook, i'm thinking a casey rybak character.

I think Andy has posted this link in the past, but this M*A*S*H medical base is awesome! Don't discount it without a look!:

Thank you for highlighting the massive, overwhelming response to my Playmobil trade there Baron! Little does everyone know, that thread, and it's record breaking amount of posts, is the reason BFTB is having technical difficulties.

Thanks for your ideas guys. I think a portacabin kind of set up is the best idea as we are in the modern age now our troops don't have to rely on tents (although I do like the M.A.S.H. setup).

maybe a command centre converstion?????

As far as the medic helicopter I was thinking of a tomahawk conversion or a similar type of chinook helicopter anyway.

:doc:

Would love to hear your ideas and see any pics along these lines for ideas too
