Phantom X-19 Stealth Fighter

Post by Flash »

I am very excited as I have just aquired a Phantom X-19 fighter off ebay. Just one question - Does anyone have any suggestions how the cockpit can be made more secure? It seems rather loose just being held on by the rubber nose cone. Or am I doing something wrong?

Love this aircraft :)
There are two tabs on either side of the canopy that slot under the fuselage, and the rubber nose cone to hold it in place.

Thanks for the reply. I still find that the rubber nose cone is not good enough on its own to hold the canopy in place. Any other ideas?

Have you got a pic?
Both my canopies seem to slot in and hold fine.
Not damaged is it?

I find using Yojo.com's archive handy in putting together vehicles I had no idea how to put back together my dreadnok trike I bought on e-bay without it.

Yup, my :sas: custom works fine. There are some shots of the cockpit open and closed, maybe you're missing the slider mechanism?

I find the Yojoe blueprint archive very useful too.

Fixed it now. Thanks for all your help. What a great aircraft this is! I am very happy with it. I think some below radar recon missions are called for to celebrate.
