robo joe?

can anyone tell me the story behind the robo joe figure?
it looks like crap, so i have an idea for a good custom but cant find any info about who the f#@k he is!
can anyone help?

Skeletron. He was never in the comics, as he was the Mailaway figure. If you bought five carded figures, collected the tokens on the back and posted them off you got sent Skeletron. As such he has no bio.

It's prompted a fair bit of chatter on the board, inlcuding the "Is Skeletron a Dead Kraken?" debate which TKW never really got over...

no, not skeletron! i know skeletron, i sent off & had one back in the day.

ive seen a couple of customs of him, but who was he before he was robo? is he joe as in THE joe? kept alive as a cyborg? im trying to decide who's head to use!

could someone post a pic please? never heard of this guy before... cant get on yojoe at work, only been able to get on here at work for the past week.

Thanks for that, didnt realise he was one of those types... Ive got a Duke from that series and its awwwwful... Certainly contender for worst Joe figure...
