finally got my shelving sorted for my loose collection. God knows where my AF MOCS will go though!!

Very nice, just get rid of the Star Wars stuff to display your AF MOC! 
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Just out of shot to the left is the wife's sewing machine and 2 blank walls which I'm not allowed near, might try and sneak a AF poster up though, you know just to test the water!

Great toy room mate, I'm in the same boat with the Mrs.
I'm planning to grow a Ball sack at Xmas and invade a room for my stuff, watch this space.
