Nowhere to sit - base bits
My Christmas was ruined when my brand spanking new Z Force base came with only one chair for the computer console. I'm still not over it, and have since broken all the tabs for the jail cell. Is there any hope for me? Hey, I also need the accessories for a Z Force Minesweeper, but you knew that, right?
Sigh... wasn't serious, in fact the topic of mines and mine detectors is far more of a sore point!!!
Yeah, I've often wondered on the whole US/UK patent deal, my question is: does anyone know which vehicles were UK Patent only? I only recently realised that the Battle Tank is a MOBAT repaint, but what about the Shadowtrak, Cosmic Cruiser and Z Force Jeep? As these are reincarnated AF1 vehicles, were they ever seen in the States? If not, I'd recommend tracking down a Z Force Jeep as its one of my personal favourites!! Some goes for the Stingray and the Satellite Defence, cos the Stingray is a great toy. Does anyone know more about this?
You'll be glad to hear that one of the upcoming stories at http://www.bloodforthebaron.com is all about Tripwire!!! It's from the final days of the comic, and if I remember rightly, his character was that of a rock under pressure, and a total klutz the rest of the time. I haven't seen too many of the Joe comics, but hopefully the change wont be that much of a departure.
I reckon Blades could have Tripwire any day. Its all in the name.

Wow! I had no idea there were so many!!! I'd have thought the Roboskull, Triad and Sealion would definitely be US, I assumed they've all been released there in some form or another? I'd recommend getting yourself a Stingray too, its a lovely bit of kit that holds the figures really well.

I used to use my Boat Patrol as a roof for the Z Jeep, it wasn't until recently I found out they were originally released as a single unit. Oh, and although the Cosmic Cruiser guns do look like the RAMs, they are actually moulded to the outer shell. I don't know the VAMP, I'm afraid, is this the SAS Panther? The guns are quite similar, but these dont move. Oh wait, wasn't the Panther the Night Attack without the gun?
I'm quite curious to know the differences in APCs, or ATCs, I guess that the footpegs inside are for the bendy joes, but that could mean that the whole interior is different... I'm guessing HAL stands for Heavy Artillery Laser, yeah? I'm at a loss for Pac Rat and the rest, though.
I guess you know that the Z Force Minesweeper is the hardest figure to find, hence my whole jealousy thing... all of my enemy vehicles used to keep on breaking through the rearguard. If only Scout had been easier to find then many of those brave boys might still be with us today! Arf!
But youve got me thinking now, and I reckon the only way to really know who rocks the harder is to put it to the vote. I reckon Blades would kick Tripwires ass, but if you disagree, step into the ring and go to the Polls!!!
