Ebay Yet More Endless Changes

Post by ODB »

Rant Mode on.

What on earth are Ebay actually doing? Not content with ruining the classifications in the individual categories in most areas we now have a god awful new font and format for all listings. It seems the brain dead moron with tablets are now enforcing changes on everyone. I really think I am done with Ebay its just awful to use.

Old maybe, grumpy quite possibly, right most definitely.

PS I'm sure I posted this in the Ebay section, but hey ho.

You did, but that section is for Trades, not Chat. Plus I was hoping you'd moan about it.

I totally agree with ya ODB!! It's making me think "why bother". I often wonder at the pricing too as sometimes by the time you've paid a listing fee, final item fee and paypal fee it's not worth listing anything less than a tenner!

And don't get me started on Post Office new prices. Despite them being adamant theyve not gone up, just revised, I took stuff yesterday that should have cost about £30 and it cost me a total of £47! Thus negating any profit whatsoever and basically making it so I'd have been better off giving it to the charity shop!!!

And all just for the privelidge of them losing it or breaking it!!!

the new pricing from the post office is a total shambles, how the hell can they justify the cost, example parcel sent to me on the 28th 1st class recorded delivery arrived yesterday i am aware of easter but still it's sh*t. there must be an alternative where you pay a fair price for a decent service.

ebay i've pretty much given up on ebay i rarely bother at all it's only when i get told about something is on there that i might want do i bother having a look. buyers and sellers these days just want to give you negative feedback anyway the wankers.

I have a feeling something is going on internationally to try and curb online trade. The smallest parcel to the UK 5 years ago was 8 dollars Aussie, now its 17. And going on the cost of stuff from Rene it looks like the Eu is going the same way. Even the UK is getting worse. Lucky there isn't much more to complete my collection, although the command centre is proving to be a bitch at around 60 quid to ship.

Anyone visiting Aussie soon?
