Helmet casting?!

Post by stkhlmdk »

Hi all,

Can anyone on here help me with a casting of an Aero-Viper helmet and/or WORMS helmet in custom color?

I need either of them for a custom project and it will have to be in Eels grey or Wild Weasel red if possible. I have contacted Hotdog on YJ as I know he has done some cool custom casts of the Aero-Viper helmet but so far no answer.
Best Regards

Can you post some photos up mate? Just to give me an idea? May be able to replicate them for you.

Sure, its these helmets I am looking to get in custom colors.

I have included some shots of the figure itself and with the two different helmets mounted (still need to find a suitable nick name for him ;))

Ps: sorry for the picture quality but my DSLR cam is for service, going on for 3 weeks now and I miss it

I reckon I can do them! Are they squishy or quite hard? they'll be hard once cast (the new ones)

I got some casting to do at moment, so if you want me to have a go send me the helmets (and ideally the figure to use to check the made ones fit okay?) and I'll give it a whirl??

That would be awesome! The originals are made of hard plastic and fits just right on the Astro-Vipers head.

I will have to calculate the costs of sending this "signed for" as I would hate to loose one of my precious Aero-Viper helmets in transit ;)

Alternatively I am looking for any Bftb´s who might live close to SteveD and can assist with the original helmets and maybe an Astro-Viper to check the fit?
