Am I being cynical?

Post by Nobunaga »

I've just sold some figures on eBay. Nothing rare by any means. Just some stuff I wanted to get rid of.

The lot was won by a buyer with a 0 feedback rating, who is based in Italy, and joined eBay 2 days ago.

Now, should I be worried, or am I worrying about nothing?

I sold a rare Lego set to a guy in Italy, he swears it never arrived and claimed his money back from me through Paypal. Be sure to get proof of delivery, not just proof of postage.

Cheers for that.

They've not paid yet. I never gave an option for international postage so I expect this person will be contacting me to see what postage to Italy would be, but that said, really they should have contacted me about it before placing a bid? well, I'll wait to see what they do.

I have seen some sellers stating that they won't ship to Italy due to fraudsters.

I would have thought Greece would have been more of a problem? But yeh, Italy isn't well regarded for dodgy buyers.
Let me tell you, Gunner La-De-Dah Graham, the British Army can fight anything! Intimate or not!

Be careful, I've had problems with Italian buyers more so than anyone else.

Italy is a no trade zone for me.

I don't find it an coincidence that countries like these are in Euro-trouble at the moment.
