World War III

Devils Due will be running a 12 issue story arc that is titles World War III. Now its been said the Red Shadows will return soon. Now that may be after the year long arc but I also have heard that there will be at least one showing up here and there.

Seeing as we are in the age of post-modern war, I think it would count as World War IV for some; for the Baudrillarians, World War V.

But WW3, it all depends on whether you are on Op Infinite Justice or ...er... Universal Freedom. Or whatever it is now called in Gatesian DoD. Or just sitting at home watching the game having the beer. In which case, sh*t happens.

This starts next week and if anyone didnt see the interview that I posted a week ago in the ACTION FORCE COMIC SECTION then go read it because the writer mentions the RED SHADOWS !! again!!

I'm excited to see the Red Shads in the US Joe continuity. I hope that they pull ideas from the Shads past such as the Black Major, Red Laser and Ironblood. Although the link between GI Joe and the Shads is cool (Vaughn and Colton) I don't think that Vaughn should be Ironblood as he is not as ruthless as the dastardly villan we love. I still think there should be sonmeone (Ironblood) behind the Red Shads.

we are workling on a something that we will be posting soon in hopes Devils Due will do just that!! I hope when we do we can contact all the members on this board to help and support it.

a lot of the board members here think Vaugh should be the Black Major , the two have so many similarities it could actually work very well and not contradict anything still too.

but in any case I do want to see more characters pulled from the old comicst too

cant wait to see this whole story start in 3 short days
