Okay now I know this series wasnt the most popular but I think it was because of the horrible toys because The concept was great exspecially SKAR ( the villians ) and the show was probally the best most adult written series for Joe we have ever gotten I just wish they would make 4 inch versions of these guys anyway.........

I have been putting up a information board up because I was unable to really find anything about it anyway so I got all kins of things up and alot more comming but this weeks

Hey Eveyone its the 10th Anninversary of GI JOE EXTREME !

Lets hope this series gets released on DVD this year for its anniversary !!

Fixed the small images of the Episode 23 Script Wreckage Revenge. So its readable now. If you havent read this or seen it your missing one of the best written Joe episodes ever or any series. This is my favorite episode by far of the Extreme series Act 1 and 2 is up and Act 3 will be comming up soon as soon as I get new scanner.................

Also the site has been redesigned for better navigation and in GI JOE EXTREME COLORS!

there is a section for the good guys called THE EXTREME TEAM
a secton for the bad guys called SKAR FORCES
and a section now for media Called EXTREME MEDIA ( comics, cartoons, fan online comic ,DVD info , series info episode Reviews ect ect )

And of course the General discussion section is still there.

Also added a review of Action Man X missions movie with screen caps and even a Movie Preview Link where you can actually watch some clips from the movie on another section of the site !! For that go here

Tons of new updates this week check it out

for those that didnt know the realm now has a Action Man Information Forum. This forum will be focusing on the Animated Action Man series from 1996- 1997 with some contributions from one of the two people who actually worked on the series as a story board artist.

It will also feature the CGI movies of ROBOT ATAK and X Missions .

Thier is a thread for
The Action Force Profiles which only has screen caps up for the moment

The Enemy Which has screen caps up as well and will have each character profiled as well too.
And the first profile is done, which is URSULA: former love interest for action man now enemy commander. read her sad story in this thread with screen caps. I also posted the Skull Man profile as well ( can you say Range Viper ) Scroll down to thier appropiate post

This weeks update also sees the review up for ROBOT ATAK with Screen caps this is the prequel for X Missions

In the section for reviews on the Action Man 1996-97 series. Now not all but over half of them have a little teaser for you all. They come from the episode descriptions on the DVD, these descriptions can not be found anywhere on the net, so enjoy them
Which ones? You will just have to go look through both pages for that!

ALso posted some interesting tidbits in the episode guide post, including using the HOF rhino as the basis for Action Mans vechile.

Usage of colour: when I want to read a message I don't need to have a psychedelic experience.

IMHO, a message board is for passing messages to each other, design is important, but should not overrule the first goal. The design used is not easy on the eye. This is a typical beginners "error" -> overdesigning things forgetting what the goal is. Used to be a designer in the past and made the same type of error in school. You can have a board with fantastic colours, but if nobody is reading anything, then there is no board.

Sometimes less is better.

Just my two cents...
