Not sure, the Bombardier figure had real relevance to GI Joe. I think this is probably more of a BFTB community event.

Funny thing, my daughter was reading over my shoulder yesterday, one of ODB's posts. She said, "Oh look Daddy, the hypno-toad". Both my kids are Futurama nuts.
You have brought them up well then, you must be congratulated. Have Saturday off work.

Yeah, as cool as it is, in it's current state it's a little limited, but through it's construction, and through talking through with some ex-employees, I think this was a 'quick and dirty' model just to illustrate a concept for Q-Force vehicles.

i remember as a kid, at primary school, we watched a video about the making of the MANTA Force toys. http://www.mantaforce.co.uk/Collection/Manta.html

that started off life as a toy fort which would include everything you needed. then it mutated into the MANTA ship and then of course, they extended the range with stuff like the Red Venom and Stinkhorn etc...

funny how these things get changed...
Manta Force’s heritage is strongly linked to Action Force strangely enough. The Palitoy Head of Design worked on both.

It is very reminiscent of Roger Moore era bad guy vehicles 

Hello Dave

Wow, another great find, thanks for sharing. Yet another milestone marking Palitoy's quirky ingeniousness.

So, is the rest of your :AFLogo: schatzkammer being saved up for your 2000th post? At this rate Papa-Eisenblut will be paying you a visit to investigate further ...

I love seeing this kind of stuff.

I'm guessing this idea must have jumped through a few preliminary hoops to get from drawing to mock-up.

Thanks for posting these pics Dave.

Dave, I know you have heard this many times, but... have you decided your rank?
