i was wondering about these guys, im working on claymore (i think) next & was wondering what peoples take on the shadows was, are they dressed in red, or white? i see them as just having red masks, wearing bright red in the snow is just ridiculous even for them!
have thought about making one......
Hmmm... Probably white with red mask. I think the Red Shadows are deliberately non-camouflaged - they are usually shock troops and I think the red is designed to intimidate. One could use artistic licence to say that Ironblood deliberately used the Nazi design to evoke fear (of course that's just the in universe continuity, we all know the real reason LOL).

So I'd say white with red mask, but that does provide a great contrast.

Here's the finished version. The logo has the cutlasses or whatever the Arabian swords are called...

White, with red masks underneath.

I'm really humbled Muton. Thanks. Shoulda kept him to myself I think ;) Nice job on the shad. What Torso did you use? Whilst doing the Kraken story, I noticed that the single most important thing with colouring the shads was making sure their eyes were white, which gave me the idea for Nightmare. If they were red, they didn't look half as menacing. Also had the problem of white snow suits over red uniforms. I mixed it up at the start and went for red later on.

Malc, that looks amazing as always. Brilliant job. Swords are scimitars I do believe?
