excellent, i just love your custom. moreso as its recce. :inf:

my own version of this vehicle sits half finished boxed up in my loft due to time restraints that i have discussed elsewhere....but i think you have inspired me.

the driver looks spot on and his profile is great, really inspired.

for small badges and patches try DECAL PAPER which comes coloured and clear and can be printed with designs on an inkjet. modellers use it for custom paint jobs on aircraft etc.

keep up the great work..................andy

Many thanks for the comments.

Andy, Where would I find Decal Paper? Do you know of somewhere on the net, or am I best to go to a model chop?

Cheers,

Jim

there are quite a few companies on the net, just put decal paper in your search box and away you go. some supply it in packs of many sheets some'll do it a few sheets at a time. try http://www.decalpaper.com for a start.

i was given mine by a friend and it lasts for ages for what i use it for, so i havn't actually bought it direct, but the best selection seems to come from the US companies but i don't know what the postage would be like, cost wise. i know some people use it for designs on candles so if you have a craft shop nearby they might do it.

the possibilities are endless from camo schemes to arm badges...hope this helps...............andy :inf:

Seriously good job!

I really wish I had the patience to paint, but I'm always too heavy handed and impatient.

Then again time is scarce enough anyway, if I could paint customs I'd never get online!

Bumping this up as it is the subject of a recent post.
