O.K. I may be a bit slow here..but I've just checked on YoJoe.com...the Joe A.P.C didn't have a tow hook @ all...so how come Palitoy could fit on to the :zforce: A.P.C & not the Jeep?

uhm good point. guess they retooled that when they reworked the interior... maybe it occurred that they needed something to pull the whirlwind...

Thanks for all the replies guys - it seems I'm not the only one to notice this. I would dearly love to use an ATC but sadly it would probably be a bit outside my means right now, so I think I'll just keep an eye on ebay for a Mobat. I used to have one but I'm sure I sold it a couple of years back. Numpty.

On the other hand I could maybe repaint a Panther in Z-Force green. Hmmm, that's a thought ... :-)

I guess when they made the Jeep they didn't know that the Whirlwind was coming. Could have been a good move by Palitoy if they'd shipped with the Whirlwind a little tow bar attachment for the jeep - might have eeked out a few extra jeep sales.

There are floor grooves for the Attack Cannon in the Command Centre, so maybe it's just meant to live in there. But since the CC is a temporary structure that just raises the bigger question of how Z Force ever moved that around.

I think there were 3 little indents in the raising black platform for vehicle maintenance, and the cannon's feet fitted nicely into them.

That would let the cannon raise on the platform and, unless my memories gone totally dodgy, it was also set up so that with the platform lowered the Attack Canon could poke its barrel out of one of the front slots, for want of a far better way of putting it.

The suspense is killing me.

SERIOUSLY.

Perhaps the spacings are accidentally >cough< related to another JOE item?

Only set eyes on a Command Centre for the first time a few years back; then it got put into the last bunker for safe keeping.
