One of my favourite PS2 games is Killzone that style would suit Action Force.

Spellforce had a superb engine where the layout was a strategy game but if you zoomed in with the wheelmouse it became third person. All games should be like that!

ROC is on PS2 but I've no idea how good it is.Ironblood wrote:I would love to play the ROC game if it's out for the PS2 as well.
I'd like to play an AF game done as a first person shooter, with maybe a few vehicle episodes like the Bond games. It's easy to imagine playing out Operation Claymore.
I'd be intrigued by a Lego version, as I could see that being a route to eventually bringing back AF on the store shelves, similar to the way that Lego Indiana Jones hyped up a generation of kids who'd never heard of him in preparation for the latest movie. Plus the customisers could have a field day. However the thought of 'cutesy' versions of Eagle and co. has me shuddering with horror.

Skip'd be Commander class tooSundance wrote:class based MP FPS with SP as well.
Sparrowhawk as a HALO jumper class - able to parachute into any place on the map
Beaver as a silent commando - no footfall noise, can breathe underwater for limited time
Eagle - commander with grappeling line, can pass out ammo.
Quickfire - commando, can plant demo charges, fires faster than others
Barracuda - moves slower on land, can swim fast, has SCUBA gear to last udnerwater
Stakeout - machine-gunner, moves slower, but has M60
Stalker - only armed with an Uzi and 2 clips, but can drive the Panther
that's SAS Force...
Tracker machine gunner
Wheels and Steeler driver class but limited to their vehicles
Shark could go in the frogman class
Hot Jets and MoonDancer could be in a pilot class able to fly the Triad
Chopper and Blades in a pilot class able to fly the Hawk
Ironblood would be enemy commander
Black Major enemy commando
Red Wolf enemy pilot of the Roboskull
Kraken enemy frogman, but with no SCUBA
Muton enemy machinegunner
Red Shadow enemy HALO jumper
Red Jackal and Red Vulture enemy drivers limited to the Hyena and Shadowtrak

I guess I'd like to see something along the lines of Star Wars Battlefront(but more gritty..maybe have citizens running about that you have to avoidshooting..if you play as the good guys that is ) a game which you could switch from first person to 3rd person .. also plenty of different locations within the action force universe.. I'd expect to have a story mode whic has you pass each mission unlocks vehciles weapons and characters.. to obtain squad leaders you'd have to perform well in tasks much like in Battlefront .. so space battles ,underwater battles and land battles galore .. be nice to play as enemy
too
