Why would the attic particularly cause any return, would it be the heat up there? All my collection is in the attic but its a "proper" room of the house but it does get quite hot in the summer.
I think it's because in the UK the weather is SO changeable. The cold winter then the random days of heat aren't good for plastics, the hottest it's been up there is 35 and the lowest about 5. Makes sense to keep this stuff in a room at a regulated temperature.

Thanks again for your help, flagg tower has been in for about 7 hours and i think i can see some change, that might be me being hopeful though.
Any idea how long this stuff will be good for? Have another batch of flagg bits to do.
Hands are now f*cked after using fairy power spray, oven cleaner and the peroxide for cleaning / depainting loads of stuff today.

Takes me back to when I peroxided my hair and by time I got to the back the front was already platinum White! No wonder it's falling out now!!
Excellent guide though - amazing it does that by vaporising!

This thread is absolutely fantastic/ Thanks for sharing guys.
I've heard about the use of peroxide in various threads both here and elsewhere, but this has really nailed it. Great details and examples guys.
Thanks
