June issue of the GI JOE CLUB

Okay so got the June issue of the Joe club magazine today

here is my thoughts

1. As always the highlight for me is the comic, Loving the big lob comic, but still wishing it was like 3-4 pages
2. The cover again is all new art of the Baroness and fits really nice with last months look. Hope they continue this.
3. Profile of Big Lob

interesting article on the AT team Con toy and Thomas wheeler does another article on the many different figures of ( this month TORCH) which Im didnt quite enjoy so much for some reason this month

The Dio story Continues but I hate dio stories to be honest

There is also a funny two page Dio story featuring the 12 inch toys.

5 out of 13 pages were adds

WISH THEY WOULD PUT AN ADD ON THE BACK COVER though and put BIG LOBS STORY inside the book

sucks that the part I look forward to most is the back OUTSIDE cover

I , as always feel like there should be more than just this.

They need to do stuff like an article on the original Natalie Poole 12 inch doll and dig up some info on her . Most people dont know much about her, and they have her still for sale!!!!!

I agree.The Big Lob story really should be inside the magazine & there are far too many ads in it.I was hoping we'd see more of the Wave 2 P.O.C. figures that are coming out soon but probably in a future Issus.
Overall I like the mags & will consider whether to renew or not later on in the year.

ya less adds for sure. I mean do an article or something on the stuff that you are trying to sell instead of just a lazy add. If you had an article on Natlaie poole and the 3 versions of Dolphin , his history and even comic appearance ( DDP INCLUDED ) you could have a nice read but also add in a little add at the end like GET NATLIE/ DOPHIN in the club store with small picture !!

It needs something like MORE COMICS space to attract people. I know if it had a large monthly comic section I would probably continue my membership just on that!

funny thing is I remember a few people debating if it was moondancer or dolphin, on these boards in fact, and I was like ITS DEFINATELY MOONDANCER lol
