AF - The Pringles of action figures

Post by punking »

AF - The Pringles of action figures. Why? Because once you start collecting, you can't stop! I thought I'd re-live my youth (my parents threw all my AF stuff out when I was a teen, I can forgive them many things but...). I joined this site and I've been lurking around for a while, then I bought a few figures, and then a few more. I've managed to pick up

Baron Ironblood
SAS Squadron Leader
SAS Commando
Z- Force Captain
Z-Force Medic
Muton
German Stormtrooper
Mountain and Artic AF9
SAS Attack Trooper

My wife thinks I'm nuts, and as I'm in New York the shipping and the currency exchange is crippling me. Some of the figures are not in the best condition and the Medic is missing his white case. Yet, I still have a big smile when I see them. I'm off to hunt down a Red Shadow that doesn't cost a fortune, and a collection of guns. (My Attack trooper is missing his weapon and seems s bit silly just waving his arms at everybody).

Welcome to the gang, punking! You have a Baron Ironblood figure so that's all that matters.

Thanks. I figured I couldn't post here until I had him. Although he has lost some of his hair. I might have to get him a wig.

Welcome. Palitoy figures very often come up for trade. Check out this site link below for some. I think you will be impressed with the shipping and the guy that runs it is a member on here.

Cheers for the welcome. I've bought a few of my figures from Action-Figure-Supplies. And you are right, the shipping cost is great. I was pleased to get a Z-Force Captain with grappling hook.

Blatent plug: I'm buying some guys collection on Saturday so I'll have a ton of new AF stock on the site sometime next week. From the photos it all looks mint. Keep an eye on Twitter / Facebook / here and I'll post when it's up.
