Lorenzo diBonaventura says they're aiming to start shooting in the spring for a summer 2012 release. no word on director, returning characters. just an aimed-for start date.

summer 2012 will also see nuTrek 2, the reboot Spider-Man, Batman 3, and Avengers

One trilogy that disappeared thanks in part to Angelina Jolie is the Sin City one it was supposed to have had the second film released by now. I saw an interview with Byung-Hun Lee he said he wants a bigger role for Storm Shadow before he considers saying yes to a sequel.

why blame Angelina Jolie? RR was cranking out that Grindhouse flick and now he's overseeing Machete and Predators. if he got his finger out, he coulda made it and got someone else for Ange's part.

She hummed and harred over a part Sundance then said no after filming had been delayed by her. Then Brittany Murphy's untimely death delayed things again. He probably moved on as they all had to because Sin City 2 and 3 might not see the light of day.

Well, if they try to follow the Hard Master's murder mistery, :storm: would have to appear, but a bigger role? he already had a big part in ROC. Making it a bigger part would disbalance the roles.

He didn't speak a lot which is what I think the actor meant as long as the story isn't rushed. Channing Tatum admitted RoC's story was rushed because of the writer's strike.
