This is what you get... when you mess... with the SAS!

Stakeout's new toy!

Post by Red Baron »

Stakeout went to a carboot at the weekend and picked up a new ride and now he's just showing off in front of his mates!

This was a nice find and the chap selling it said it was an "eyesoar" and gave it to me for nothing! I couldn't believe my luck. It needs a little work and is missing some bits, but generally a nice addition to the Action Force fleet. I'm probably going to keep it as an SAS fast attack boat, rather the Q-Forceing it up.

That would look good with some :sas: stickers on! Is it from the world peace keeper range?
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Yes, some stickers will be applied at some point - this is still the raw state straight from the stall. I can't see any manufacturer stamps on it, so no idea what range it's from I'm afraid. I assumed it was a Chap Mei product - do they produce the World Peace Keepers?

Might get one myself
Well identified. I did see some from this range in a toy shop a few weeks back - a couple of nice helicopters I recall.

It will be a nice addition to your Action Force vehicles - you can see the scale compared to the original Boat Patrol set.

They also have an A-10 on the Amazon site too. Anyone got that?

Do you mean this A-10? I got this in a job lot earlier this year on eBay - sadly missing the left rear vertical fin!

Also a picture of a Carrier bourne jet that I found at a carboot a couple of weeks ago. Both fit the original Palitoy figures very well.

Wow! That's the one! The other is the F-18. Think the A 10 would look good in :zforce: colours. And the F-18 in :sas: or even :qforce: (Blue fuselage, yellow wings)

You're thinking along the same lines as me with the F-18 (thanks for identifying it). As it's Carrier bourne I was planning to paint in Q-Force colours.

The A-10 is nice (shame this ones missing that fin!). I was toying with painting it black to go with my Black Major force.

There's an F-18 (they're calling it an FA-18) on eBay at a good price
