Can't say I'm that fond of thye look myself, though the outfits look about right, the helmets/masks are just all kinds of wrong to my mind.

Well looks like possibly either the Baron or the Black Major (guy with Goatie) & a Hulking Lt too. Now the lady though (well we`ll see if she is a lady eh

) should be interesting where they go there.

Overall,not to far removed from the original RED Shadows,question is though how close will they actually be?

I loved the new look, dont get me wrong I do want to see more classic uniforms in the mix too but for a new soldier and new leaders I LOVED THEM!

I Just noticed while reading the origin story of the Black Major that the RED SHADOW troopers are all wearing trenchcoats just like the DDP Red Shadows troopers, so the only thing different in the Black Major story and the DDP story is the Mask, and this mask that DDP has could be the mask that they NOW where under thier helmets or have replaced!

many people had a big problem with the new look but now I look at these two stories and SAY WHY? its just the helmet that is missing

Ill have to color a few panels of the black major story and post them here for people to compare but ya they look the same

I say way to go DDP !

and helped them be a pain to create my customs

oh dont get me wrong the helmets are definately iconic symbols of the shads and should return but the rest of the outfit fit rather nicely

Id either like to see the helmets return ( my preference ) or at least have ONE guy with the helmet return and make him Red Vulture or the other way around. have the DDP outfits be the red vulture and have the regular soldiers have the helmets. ( again this second one is my preference )

this way red vulture stands out more.

have you seen the head molds that good to go customs sells? they took the original head from the toy and molded onto a GI JOE ball neck joint so you can make customs out of the Joe 3 and 3/4 inch range using them

I bought some and I know some other members did too ( shogi for one Im pretty sure did ) they fit perfectly on the DTC crismon guard or the COBRA Claws commanders body

perfect for customs

yeah i bought some of those but wasn't too happy with the results when i painted them. the red plastic was too bright and gloss so didnt fit with the original shadows and my customs, when i painted them the paint would crack and rub too easily on the neck...

my next idea is to try an original head on a new neck but i stupidly sold all mine about a year ago

the dupelman outbid me on ebay so i guess ill have to wait till a cheap one comes up for a test...
