Its just short for Stockholm but I know this has nothing to do with DK, I just lived there for 6 years so it has stuck to me like rubber and glue :-D
And yes, it was a lot of fun as I went to tradeshows and presentations of new toys 2-3 times a year and helped my parents pick what to buy. Sometimes I even received stuff from the salesrep as a "bribe", have a few vintage StarWars figures and vehicles on that account :-P
Best Regards

Hi René, glad to see you've made it on to the board :-D There's a local toy shop chain here, I used to work for them, this was before I got back into collecting, but I'll have to ask the owner if he has any old stock about him. That would be sweet as.

Hello I'm Koth,
My dominant collection has been Star Wars but have a huge soft spot for Action Force.

I collected from the beginning but most of Wave 1 found their way to being custom fodder. Now i've found this fantastic site I'm looking to plug the holes in my collection.

I went on to collecting GI Joe and was lucky enough to get a Japanese penpal in the early '90's and was able to trade for some of the original GI Joe items. Covergirl and the Wolverine was my particular favourite.
I eventually sold all my GI Joe collection and bought a car!

Up to the present day I have cleared my gear out of home and stored in my loft with my unsuspecting wife. I think, during the move, my entire collection of Battle Action Force, Action Force and European Missions comics found their way into the skip! I'm feeling a bit sick but optomistic I'll find them.

Now I've found this fantastic website I've been inspired to complete my set and create a few customs of my own which I will gladly share in due course.

Hope to catch up with you all soon

Regards

Mark

I do hope you let her come down from there for special occasions, like Birthdays and Christmas? And when you need a shirt ironing??? :-D

Welcome aborad Mark, and good luck plugging gaps! If you need a good start to the BAF comics I've got a big box of spares looking for a good home!

Cheers all

Unfortunately I'm the one on shirt duty. Mrs Koth is working as a baby factory at the moment so we're in the 'hate all men' phase of life.

Picked up the 'Rise of the Red Shadows' from Amazon last week. £30!!!!

'Nuff said.

I never did pick that trade up as I bought the original issues is there any chance the bonus story from the trade could get scanned on to the site?
