I have a couple of S-A which I consider selling as I only collect swivel-arms. Will have to put them on my Spare-lists soon so someone else can enjoy them :-)

I love Ed's straight-arm Joe collection - there's something very "grass roots" about them, they look more like proper soldier toys than a lot of the other Joes

the extra articulation wasn't the only improvement, the slimmer crotch pieces made a big difference. It was an early objective of mine also to complete the initial run, have held on to about half of them.

From simply an aesthetic point of view, they are no match for the 1.5 versions.

Well I've just received Straight armed Breaker, Flash, Grunt and Short Fuse (thanks Squad Leader!), which coupled with my Grandslam at home, give me lots of green straight armed dudes! I love them - I love the way they are almost the bridge between AF and Joe's. Hoping to complete a set and then that will be an end to my dalliance with Joes other than for customs.

I may have a Hawk S-A that could fit in there but just need to locate a Swivel before I let him go ;-)

That'd be cool Rene! Just let me know if you do - I'm not rushing with these, and hardly even looking on ebay, so as and when my friend!

I never got any of the SA versions only the Swivel versions of AF until my collection was taken in a burglary at my home years ago :-x The loss took a long time to heal to be honest.

I was toying with the idea of getting a SA Snake-Eyes and putting him in one of those nice Clear plastic wall-mounted cases. A bit of modern art/toy history sort of thing.
