Post by The Black Major »

Not sure what I'm gonna call it yet and apologies for the crappy mobile phone pics (will try & post better ones when I get my camera working), but here's a new set of wheels for Stalker & the SAS boys!

Fantastic! Got any figure customs planned to go with it?

Thanks. No figures yet, still working up to that. Painting skills still not there yet.

Please could you post direct [img] links? Clicking on thumbs is a right pain!

Please use the "Direct" link and then hit the [img] button.

Looks very nice.

You stuck a few stickers on it, I wouldn't really call that a custom. What's missing is yellow details to make it 'real' SAS. Which is going to be a tough job anyway. The Humvee is a very cool vehicle, but very un-British.

Oh, I dunno, LBC's still count, I think. This works. My SAS Chinook was really only a few touches of yellow and some stickers.

For sure it can! But I am missing a few yellow highlights here and there.

The only proper light truck for the British would be the ever lasting Land Rover, a Humvee simply doesn't fit. The Chinook is being deployed by the RAF, so that makes sense.

Baron, sorry, will try and get it right next time. Still learning when it comes to posting.

Jaye, yes I did just put stickers on it. Got a replacement set of SAS Panther stickers from vintage star wars collectables, pics might not do it justice but it's detailed enough for me. This is just my interpretation of something, sorry if it doesn't meet with your liking. I just didn't wan't to put more yellow on it.

As for the only truck being a Landy. This is AF SAS, who are international, not just British and the panther is based on the GI Joe (US) VAMP, which is based on the Lamborghini Cheetah.

In short, I like it. Just thought I'd share a few pics, that's all.

Thanks Bill.

I do like it. The pics aren't the best, but with the panther decals applied, it works just right for me. Would like to do the green Humvee next, but they're not as cheap to get a hold of, or a Z Force Panther using a Joe Vamp.

For now, keeping it simple works best for me.
