Thanks for the linky!
Hope that isn't a BAT going bonkers in the ship's hold. Don't want to see them this early in the series...

Re: IDW issue 1 preview!
Seems to me that Hama's 'new' take on GI JOE is to turn them into a bunch of unlikable, macho twats.
The artwork is downright weird, but I find myself liking it for some reason (certainly more than the script, anyway).

Re: IDW issue 1 preview!
Just got issue one of the new Joe comic today and its pretty good, a little more unbelievable than id like in places and too unlike the GI Joe I know and love for me to be a really big fan of...

I liked the art for #1 but thought it was a little slow. The complete abscene of Cobra was a mistake in my view.

I wasn't sure about either of these titles to be honest but after a few issues with a mixture of old & new characters I enjoy them

Re: IDW issue 1 preview!
I was adamant I wouldn't like the reboot because I wanted a continuation so we could possibly get the Red Shadows back, but 20 issues later I became a fan of the reboot. To me there are too many ads in IDW's comics and not enough story but I do recommend the titles to any of you.

Larry isn't writing the ongoing titles now and only wrote Origins. Chuck Dixon is the main writer for the main series with a rotation of writers on Origins and Christos Gage on Cobra.
