Convention Set First Reveal ( Spoilers!!)

Well my friends the 1st figure in the Con Set is revealed- Interrogator He's not only got a removable helmet but he's an O-Ring I was hoping for Red Shadows Set but now I'm not so sure

Interrogator seems to indicate a Plague boxset, I guess...

I like that idea DA but because they previously released some of The Plague would they bring them out again? Also in a way it would mean acknowledging DDP's contribution to GI Joe which is something Hasbro has turned it's back on recently.

But the DDP stuff is being relegated to give Hama charte blanche, not as a complete negation, so there is a bit of a chance, and about the released Plague pack (and Blackout and Munitia for that matter), maybe Guillotine and co could be re-released just like Interrogator himself.

Knowing hasbro and the club's penchant for recycling molds here are my expected souveneirs

Hyena & red jackal - they make at least 1 standard HISS each year so this is a gimme
Quarrell & ram
SAS panther

what I would love to see is a modern version of the Shadow trac (I would think Desert Fox would be a good source for mold)

so does anyone think we'll get a baron?

As much as I would love it to be a Baron I think they might steer clear due to continuity issues. I tend to agree on the Hyena/Hiss - nice and easy for them.

Or, based on Brian from Collectors Clud comments about SAF giving them a "brand" an SAF Panther is a strong possibility IMHO

Or an escape armour they have re-packaged it in black for the ROC line and the MMS was re-packaged with Scrap Iron also recently.

Really they could use any mould and cast it in red, in which case the possibilities are endless.

I saw a comment from the Club somewhere I'm not sure which site now as I go on a few which made me think they may make more SAF products. They were asked why was the name changed they answered so they could re-use it and as an homage to the original SAS line.
