Pit Commando

Post by Double-Tap »

picked up a pit commando a couple of days ago and gotta say i'm impressed.

think its the only ROC toy i've paid full price for.

the figure is standard enough but the equipment he comes with is excellent.
you get a gas mask, helmet with visor, sun hat type thing, 2 flak jackets, shield, funny lookin helmet (steel brigade??), a couple of back packs and loads of guns.

a customisers wet dream ;-)

I really hate ROC figures, but at 2 quid each I cannot refuse to walk into toystores to see if they have any cool ones left!

Pit Commando -> really rocks with all its accessories.
Para-Viper -> does this look like a Tie Fighter Pilot or what?
Crimson Neo-Viper -> cool armbuilder, but mainly for reselling/trading

Just been looking at pics of that Pit Commando and have to agree - he's like a 25th style SAS trooper (or, in fact, two with a donor body) waiting to happen. I'll have to keep my eye out for a couple.

Wowee, I'll keep my eyes open for one I think. All the local toy stores, even TRU, have just about sold out of Joes over xmas.

I agree it probably is the best of the bunch, our TRU doesn't have a lot of ROC stuff at all so ii'll be lucky to get it :-(
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

He is a great figure, have had to buy extra Zartans to use up the extra kit he comes with :)

Lady Jaye, where are you finding Joes for £2?
My local Sainsurys had a few in for that price but nothing from the later waves.
They also had Alpha vehicles for £3.75 and Bravos for £7.50

Cheers,
Doug

Doug, I know my English is pretty native, but I live in the Netherlands, really! Figures in Holland are at 3 euros now, which is slightly over 2 pounds, roughly, -ish, whatever. :D

There are 2 variants of the Pit Commando & I've got both  I hope we see more of these army builders in future releases.

where did you get the hold of yours Bill?

Really disappointed with my local toyshop, seems they won't be stocking any of the later waves of ROC figures :-(

Only reason I bought any was because of the novelty of taking them off the pegs.
