Sundance, Sundance, Sundance...

There's not a man among us who doesn't realise that it's expensive (although my estimate was doubled). The issue is your hostile, negative approach. There were many ways you could have handled that - saying nothing, posting "ah well" or "maybe next time under better circumstances" etc, etc. But you chose to dismiss it, a handful of comments like that and Hasbro will most likely go "f*ck it then".

Sorry to be on your case but this is the single greatest thing to have happened to this community in the seven years it has been active, the best news for UK fans in over twenty years and I won't have it diminished. I can't afford them either, but that's nobody else's problem and I'm not prepared to let my (or your) feelings ruin the excitement for anybody else.

With luck this is just the first step on the path towards a new toyline. Please get on the same page.

Sundance i'm broke too but tryin to score the bagged set only and think this'll work out to just over £100.
still really expensive but i've been puttin a couple of pennies away and will find the rest of the money somehow.

the sooner the set sells out the faster Hasbro will realise there is a market for foriegn figs

I just had a chuckle to myself there Steve at the idea of Eddie magnetising food to himself.
This is great news about the set finally coming out and would be even better if Hasbro was to sit up and take notice of reaction.
Who knows maybe somewhere down the line someone may sell their figures on e-bay or on a site like JoeArmory.com at an affordable price. I have seen the SAF Blades from last year on E-bay going for £50 this week so this year's set will probably turn up there.
Spock, where the hell's the power you promised?

thanks for the info guys, still very expensive and i realy cant afford it as the amount of money i owe i could buy a new Honda Type R, but then again i realy cant afford to miss an opportunity like this so it looks like another lump to add to my rolling debt

i do hope the shadows resemble the originals and does anybody know what the packaging will be like? personally i think it should realy have the original action force and shadow logos for added retro style anybody agree.

Yeah, the Set's too expensive to find a place in my home too, but It's great to see Hasbro listening to its fans, & I've always had an inkling that if a :enemy: set was to released it would never get into the hands of most of us in the U.K. due to limited numbers & a high asking price.

I see this set as a way for the company to test the waters on a :enemy: re-launch..if it proves successful with the Joe collectors in America it may well turn into a main stream line that's easily available & @ price every one can afford.

Every body who works for a living is entitled to spend their money how they choose & can afford too, as far as I'm concerned, if they can afford to buy this set then good for them. I can't afford to own one personally but I'm not going to get bitter & twisted about it as I've long learned to accept that you can't have every thing you want in life, & I'm not going to financially or emotionally bankrupt myself trying.
More news, as its made, from new Action Force!

i'm sorry if you thought i was being unduly harsh or something.

i am EXTREMELY HAPPY that a Shad set is being made. I would (as i said) dearly love to have a set, and if i had more money, i would've had my order in in a flash. if there ever merges a Hasbro produced line of Shads - not these con exclusives - i would buy them. but the expense of this set is just beyond me.

and i agree, thundershot, it's not worth getting bitter about, and yes, i agree, it is indeed up to the individuals how they spend their dosh. i'm just disappointed that i can't afford one of the sets.

as i did note earlier in the thread, i will be showing my support by purchasing the comic however. i might even get two copies!

Faxing an order, I haven't done that since about 1998. These are a little pricey for my tastes but they are hugely cool, I don't collect modern stuff but I might have to break a habit but then again there are some other purchases that I need.

Plus are there any pictures yet?
