Goddammit.... I'm a Kiwi, not an Aussie.

I'm not sure I'd try peroxide on cloth, it might work on the rubber VAM stuff tho. I'm also not sure I'd use it on anything but white VAM stuff. Plastic should be fine. I have used bleach on VAM gear with great success, the Arctic chap in the background was filthy when I got him. I bleached his outfit and also bleached his pack/webbing. I finished it off with bleach and a toothbrush. Took about a day all up. picture doesn't really do it justice, but it ain't yellow any more You could do the same with mountain and Arctic or Arctic assault packs as well. In fact, I have.
