I should also add two more things

1. all the hard work the baron has done on touching up all the colored covers , data files, and front page. Man that had to been a ton of work and no one has commented on it.

all the covers look great and brighter now because of all the hard work the baron has done

2. THE PETITION, we have 185 members GIJOE UK has something like 36 GI JOE NL has a ton too but how many signatures do we have??? 25!

Dont complain and say DDP is turning us ( the RED SHADOWS ) into pussies if you wont even help support the efforts in bringing back the original shads.

WHY WOULD DDP bring back the original shads if the fan base doesnt speak up for it ( IN A POLITE MANNER )

in any case there is a ton of GREAT STUFF To talk about on these boards about ACTION FORCE

and I really really wish the old fans would be more active, I am a new fan but I would love to be able to read, and listen, to what the older fans thought and liked about them in the old days , and now what they think about all the new things that is happening.

Look, all the recent efforts, like the coloring project, are very cool, but what's there to discuss? We all agree it is excellent work! Do you want everybody to post "Perfect!" on a daily basis or in every topic you open?

And why do you keep acting like a cry baby about that petition? You call me negative, simply because I have another viewpoint. I am a 35 year old collector and I collect for sentimental reasons. The Action Force heritage as it is, is fine by me. So I don't have a need for ressurrection of the original Red Shadows. And the DDP stuff I really do not find interesting. Why is that negative?

New people come here and you constantly run them off with your Bullshit negagtive and sarcastic post.

NO but each issue is usually done by another colorist, I know they would really appreciate some feedback and some Public praise on all thier hard work.

These guys that are coloring pages are spending a lot of time on each issue and no one takes the time to say hey I really liked this and this and this.

even constructive criticism is a good thing. dont like a certain thing of an issue?? politely and constuctively offer some criticism

I just did one page in the recent issue and I personally would love to know if people hate my work or like it, The other colorist did 5 of the pages and I am sure he would appreciate some feedback on that as well.

its taking 5-10hrs a page and if the colorist ( EACH ISSUE ) doesnt get some positive feedback they get burnt out.

So ya , at least when there is a new colorist, it would be nice if you said

hey good job thanks or you could work a little on,,,,,,,,, and then offer a suggestion on doing it

its excellent work all these colorist are doing ya but there being burnt out and NO POSITIVE FEEDBACK on the NEW colorist work offer them NO reason to do more, because they dont think anyone appreciates it

I dont care if people do it for my stuff but the other colorist would appreciate it

I'm gonna have to mod-up and ask you to cool it, please, man. No-one disagrees that your efforts to resurrect the Universe are anything other than sterling, but not everyone agrees it's the primary goal to AFOnline.

If people are moved to make a comment, whether you agree or not, is entirely their own business. Of course I would love it if everyone popped on board and signed the petition and loved my work but that's just not human nature. Not everybody is here for the cause, which is fair enough.

I think the point you've missed in that we all watched this franchise keel over and die 20 years ago, we were very young and very hurt and as such Action Force will always have a cherished memory in our hearts; some people may not like that being tampered with.

In all fairness, I'm now a 33 year old grumpy bugger with bills to pay. If DDP do relaunch the characters and it does lead to new merchandise I'll honestly only buy it if it don't suck. Oh, scratch that, I probably would, but they'd have to be top drawer stuff to stand alongside my existing Shadows.

So please, no personal attacks. Disagree as much as you want, don't talk if you want, but no hair-pulling.
