Here's the last AM-AF comparison photo. All done now.
Of the 19 Palitoy figures in the Series 1, 17 of them were mostly based on existing Action Men.
Only Naval Assault [there was an AM Naval Assault but it bares no resemblance to the AF figure of the same name...] and Night Patrol had no larger Action Man connections.
And here's all 17:

Sorry Paul - I wont settle and sleep comfortably at night until you have made custom outfits of the Night Patrol and Naval Assault. It only seems fair??

Ha! Cheers Steve.
You know the thought did cross my mind, and it wouldn't be very difficult to do.
Maybe I'll knock those 2 up in the new year....

Think I'll make up a special gallery for these in the Projects section of the site. Superb work!

Pfft. If only...
Re: More Action Man - Action Force Pics!
That's an impressive collection and undertaking to complete it.
Naive question: are the AF figures a 1 to 1 match for their AM counterparts (e.g. there was an actual AM "2 Para"), or have you mixed and matched some costumes to make the AM versions?
If they are 1 to 1 then I never realised just how close the links between the two lines were, so this is great to see.

They are mostly 1 to 1 exact matches Monkfish.
I doctored a couple to make to match a little closer [red pilot], added a parachute backpack to the US Para, a radio backpack to the Commando, but its pretty much what it is.

Brilliant Paul totally Brilliant!
Would you have the dimensions for the bigger cases lying around? Everytime I measure something I always end up a mm or two short (all yours Steve!). I would love to get some of these for my Big MOC's

When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?
