Just to say that based on the recommendation of a few guys I took delivery of this little gem of a book this morning, bought from Amzon UK.
Even though it's JOE, not AF it is really a bloody good book both as a reference point and to get ideas for Customs - just off my initial flick through I've already spotted about 10 things that "would look cool red"!

Re: Ultimate Guide to GI Joe (2nd edition) book
Tis a good book, the only real weakness as others on here have pointed out is the lack of an index which can make it hard to find a certain figure if you don't know which year it debuted. My other gripe is that on some of the vehicles the info on parts and breakages can be a bit sparse. Still very good but does show how off the rains the line went.

it's a great read if you ask me, just pay no attention to the price guide it has no relevance in our fair land.

Great book! I've got the First and Second Editions, the First Edition has an index.
