GI Joe vs Red Shadows Fanfic

A few years ago before I joined this site and no one knew what DDP were planning for the Red Shadows I came across a fanfic story while trying to find out more about DDP's plans. In the story Steeler was the BAF version who was seconded to GI Joe so it tied in with BAF continuity and Cobra were also being attacked by the re-emerging Red Shadows. Does anyone know anything about this fan fic story I was hoping it would be on here or was by one of our members?

Are you thinking of Red Dawn? In it Steeler US is a member of Z Force.

I don't think so it was a text fanfic rather than comic strip. But it was a few years ago I don't now remember it's title. I did it have it in bookmarks on my parents pc but that was before I moved out.

Hmmm. The only text fanfic we have from that era would be Operation Reborn.

I tried looking for it again but chances are it was taken off whatever site. It wasn't on a forum because you could click on it and bookmark it without signing up to join a site. I don't think it will still be on their pc.

I never did find this story my mum had cleared all my favourites off their pc when I had left home. And I have had no luck finding where it was posted.
