The use of white stars would make a lot of sense for Euro' toy's,as the western allies used it on most of their land vehicles during the later part of world war 2 (for i.d. by freindly aircraft)

I was under the impresion that the Sky H.A.V.O.C. wasn't released in the U.K.(but am probably wrong)...so how this one ended up in a boot sale in Ketton escapes me, many years back I also picked up a William "The Fridge" Perry figure @ a small village boot sale as well, I know it was a U.S. mail-in exclusive figure, but was it ever offerd in the U.K. as well?

Thinking back, I also found my hooded :cobracommander: from a boot sale on the way to the seaside (many many) years ago, but I think he was a special offer from Woolies ( R.I.P)..buy so many :af: toys & you got a free/exclusive & send off/ recieve a hooded :cobracommander:, if I remember correctly...in the dim & distant past, Tesco (or someone) did a offer like that for the Emperor once as well, if you bought enough R.O.T.J. bad guys @ once you got him (or maybe Vader?) f.o.c...(?)
More news, as its made, from new Action Force!

yeah, the Sky HAVOC was released over here, it's in the archive and on some leaflets there.

as for how you wound up with a Canadian one...

either someone over there bought it for a relative over here and shipped it over, or someone went there on holiday and bought it and shipped it over.

if it was an eBay purchase, it'd be more likely to be sold on eBay...

the archive indicates there was a Hooded CC mail-in offer, but i was unaware of that. the only mail-in figures i knew of were Super Trooper and Steel Brigade/'Special Corps'.

AFAIK, Fridge wasn't released over here...

There was a hooded mail-in CC over here as I got one and broke the crotch after five minutes of play... Not sure if it was a woolies exclusive but thats where I got the figures from with the offer on. I was very eager to get him and only sent off one or two proofs of purchase when they were after two or three :.

Nice HAVOK mate!

I just got a loose green one from eBay, it's a cool vehicle.
Mine came in a lot w/ an Armadillo, AWE Striker, Thunder machine, Flight Pod and a Ferret, all for a tenner :)

Cheers,
Doug

Nice find! I'm devastated that the car boot season is coming to an end! I've had a good year this time round. Now I've only got a few left until it all shuts down until Easter next year!! Bummer!
