Not bad for a small total of £3.75!
The Sky H.A.V.O.C.'s only complete on one side, with two missiles & the track covers missing , But if you look @ it like this it looks complete ;-),

But for £3.50 I'm not complaining, as I found all the extra little bits & bobs in it when I got home, including the cute lil'white robot from that Britains space range of toys,

Best bargain of the day was Life-line & a Mini-Autobot (Hubcap?) for 25p , I was expecting the lady to say "each" after the 25 pence bit...but didn't. Back of the net!!

Thanks Sundance, I always get mixed up with Hupcap & (the yellow) Cliffjumper..the only Mini-Autobot I've yet to add to complete the collection (red or yellow version).

I think that the Canadian flag merely means it was at some point a Canadian retail release of the Sky Patrol Havoc. I know a lot of the GI Joe stuff in Canada had Canadian flags in place of the American ones. MOBATS seem to be found like this a lot.

But then again I'm only learning.

I'm thinking, if the Canadian Joe toy's got Canadia flags, what did the Euro' Joe stuff get?
I'd stopped collecting the toys by then, & am not really interested in a lot of the latter stuff as it got too too Sci-Fi & toy like for my taste (only picked this one up 'cause it was cheap)...would of been nice if we have gotten national flags for each country of release, but I can imagine we got a star spangled banner  over here.

I'm fairly sure that the GI Joe releases omitted the Stars and Stripes for the Action Force logo (usually either a single star with stripes in the background or just a white Action Force logo) in the initial releases. Then as the line progressed into the 90s the Action Force moniker was dropped and replaced with the GI Joe title and with it came the Stars and Stripes sadly. Don't recall any Union Jacks or other flags adoring any vehicles.

the G.I. Joe 'banner' was replaced by an 'Action Force' one.

the USAF style star-in-circle-with-bars like on your Sky HAVOC (above the Joe banner) were replaced on the Skystriker with a blue star on red, white and blue stripes. (like el baroni uses in the archives for the leaflets links)

AFAIK no flags were used. nor was 'UNITED STATES ARMY' or similar things.

hmm... a quick perusal of the archive shows white stars (some in circles) used on the AWE Striker, Polar Battle Bear and Dragonfly...

the star-on-bars logo is also used on some of the vehicles in places where the US flag would've been...

the weapons transport that was sold via a mail-away offer came with Joe branded instructions and stickers. the bomb for example has a stars'n'stripes on one fin...
