I think you're right Aire - likely to only be a few pounds to forward on from England to Ireland, so I am more than happy for Marks to be put in with the UK box and I will forward it on if that is okay with you Mark?airedevon 1 wrote:Mark, I see you are in Ireland. Is the initial shipping to the UK going to work out for you? I don't know how much the post charges are for shipping from the UK to Ireland after that- but I guess it is still probably better than postage costs from the US to Ireland. Cool that one of these is going to Ireland!!!
Just to make sure everyone appreciates - what Aire and I have agreed to save everyone costs is that all of the UK items will be put together and sent to me here in Sheffield. That is the price shown, and for most of us already paid to Aire. When the parcel arrives I will re-package everyones up individually and forward them on to you. I will let everyone know how much the extra postage from me to you is once the parcels are done, and the parcels will be sent once the extra post is paid for.
If we do get hit with customs costs on the parcel coming in I will have to apportion that dependent on the value of the items you are getting. It is hoped that this is to be avoided as I have asked Aire to mark the parcel as "gifts" for me (which they effectively are as she is passing them on at costs).
Hope that is all okay and just wanted to make sure that everyone knew that was the plan, so there was no complaints when II ask for teh extra few pounds for postage on to you. It still works out massively cheaper than each parcel coming individually from Aire to us.
And, out of interest - it looks to me like Blades will be infiltrating all countries in this little collection of ours - England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Northern Ireland and the Peoples Republic of South Yorkshire! Good going!!
