Devils Due RED SHADOWS STORY

Post by jamarmiller »

I am just curious to who BOUGHT ( not read ) the Devils Due RED SHADOWS story either in TPB or individual issues here on this board.

I bought the individual issues and then became a fan of the RED SHADOWS and that is what brought me here and made me a fan of Action Force, To show my support I also bought the trade Paperback,

I believe it we all had gotten more behing DDP and bought this story we would have seen more.

IF you havent BOUGHT this book I IMPLORE all action force fans to buy this now, its not too late to show support for this book, The more sales DDP gets from this TPB or any left over individual issues will encourage them to make more stories on the RED SHADOWS and perhaps bring in some more familiar names and characters

we can make a difference I believe but we have to put our money where our mouths are

I have them. Bought them when they came out. I was dissapointed as there was a big lead up and in the end it was kinda rushed together and anti-climactic. I am hoping Devils Due does revisit the Red Shadows, and that the Black Major is involved.

Can the story be read as a standalone, or do you need the rest of the Devil's Due backstory? I've only read about 3/4 of the Marvel run so far, so please, no spoilers!

definately stand alone TRADE PAPER BACK you dont really need to know anything else, You can pick this TPB up and not have to worry about not reading the issues before, the short prolouge pages that showed up in the few issues before 42 and 43 are included as well so all you need is the TPB

pick it up , show your suppport and I am sure we will see them again and hopefully then even some of the old shadows as well.

Problem I have is getting hold of them. The DD comics aren't exactually easy to get ya hands on.

The only place I know in the UK that sells them is Forbidden Planet, I did buy the Shad stories though, as for other DD stuff, I dont really bother.

Have read a few though.

well good at least you got the story that mattered LOL I hope everyone here would buy it and show thier support especially if we want to see more of them and more of the old red shadows too!

Great to hear that you ordered it Baron! I think when you read it as one big story its much better than when you read the individual issues. I cant wait to hear what you think of it when your done please share your thoughts!

its what made me a fan and come to this place, in first place!

You have one more day to submit any questions to the new
new writer for GI JOE, Mark Powers, who has hinted at a return of the Red Shadows in the GI JOE book

I just submitted mine ( All Red Shadow questions LOL ) but if more people ask more questions maybe he will take more notes of the original Red Shadows and make us happy
