Ah, I only have my Space Force grey (primer). I did think of using it but decided against it, I used my SAS yellow on the TTBP and regretted it - I've since found a much better Q Force yellow BTW - Humbrol yellow spray.

The plan was a blue chopper with yellow trim, like the Stingray, and then I suddenly remembered the blue float from the Swordfish, and it made me pause.

Thinking about it, a yellow chopper would probably look crap.

Did you take it apart and take the handle off the top, or was it not there in the first place?
The one in Argos, Dino fighter style, has a carry handle on top.

Ive picked one of the argos ones upo and taken apart to spray - the chopper comes apartt down the middle and the handle pops straight out... The only prolblem I found is that the screws arent too great, I buggered one up trying to unscrew it so had to dremel the head off - luckily it was one buried deep in a recess so it cant be seen...

Have exactly the same problem!
I don`t trust my dremmelling skills and I thought if I took it back and said it didn`t unsrew easily they might give me a funny look.
I`m going to do it the more difficult and awkward way.
Cheap screws, damn you Chap Mei !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My son has one and is dying for me to copy your SAS one. The only problem is he has lost the rotors! How the bloody hell do you loose something that big! I might have to find a replacement or make some.
Found this one on ebay:
