Got to say Mark - it's a bloody nice condition figure (i'm going to be checking my MOC when I get home!), and a crystal clear photo! I wish I could get my camera to stay focussed in that close.

I've actually just got a new 10megapixel Nikon Coolpix, which has a supposed extreme close up feature. I just find it blurs still though. I think i need better natural light and mini tripod for it to properly work it's "extreme cose up" magic! Mind you, I was trying to photo the shad heads with it at the time I was getting frustrated, and they are really close in.

What I found with the Shad heads in the end - take the pic further away, with out zooming too much, then use digital zoom either on camera or PC to crop the bit you want to zoom in on. When you're trying for really small detail, but snapping at high quality, people tend to forget that the detail is all already captured in the image - you just got to zoom! Worked for me with the heads in the end, and can cancel out some of the problems of flash too I found (in the end, after getting very annoyed).

Ha ha! I've been bitch slapped by a mobile phone camera! Should've known - used to know a lass with one of them and her pictures were always top quality!
Oh, and LOL to the Barons post!
